Michigan Online School (MOS) is Michigan's premier public middle & high school for online education. Partnered with Edmentum as our major curriculum provider, MOS offers a nationally recognized e-Learning model which is the recipient of numerous awards.

Course Offerings

MOS offers more than 700 courses - including core subjects, world languages, electives, honors, and 15 Advanced Placement courses. MOS courses are accepted for credit and are transferable. Michigan Online School is approved by the Michigan Department of Education, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and courses are NCAA approved.

Faculty

All MOS teachers possess a valid Michigan teaching certificate and are certified specifically in the subject they teach. Each teacher completes a 30-hour training course, Teaching Online 101, which provides an understanding of online teaching, with five modules of content, based on best practices of 14 years of virtual teaching. Our teachers are dedicated to helping students understand the powerful connections that encompass reading, studying and test taking.

Student Enrollment

Enrollment is open to all students who reside in Michigan.

Tuition

Michigan students who enroll in MOS full time may take up to 12 credits per year tuition free. Part time students may enroll on a pay-per-class tuition basis.
