All virtual students in Michigan must be enrolled full time = credits courses per term

Military track can complete diploma with 22 credits (18/19). All of the above are required for Michigan Merit for graduation. Students must complete Michigan Merit exam requires per the state of Michigan.

Highlighted courses are not required for MMC. All others are.

Students struggling in math can take Algebra 1 or 2 over a two year period, but must then still complete a math course every term and Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Students must have all of the stated math courses and an additional credit in math for graduation.

Mathematics Sec 1278a (1)(a)(i) …A pupil may partially or fully fulfill the algebra II requirement by completing a Department- approved formal CTE program or curriculum, that has appropriate embedded Mathematics content, such as a program or curriculum in Michigan Merit Curriculum 18 Frequently Asked Questions - 09/17 This document is intended to provide general guidance. Each pupil must successfully complete at least 1 Mathematics course during his or her final year of high school enrollment. This subparagraph does not require completion of Mathematics courses in any particular sequence.
